The 1960s will be remembered for Andy Warhol, The Beatles and Me!

2016 marks the 50th anniversary of  Valley of the Dolls. Throughout the year, special editions of the novel will be released (July 4th in the United States, June 30th in the UK and Italy), limited edition fashion and beauty capsule collections will be realized, and Susann's archives will be made public for the first time, including many of the photos seen on valleyofthedolls.com A feature documentary film is also in the works.

In 1966, Valley of the Dolls achieved the #1 spot on The New York Times Best Seller List, and stayed there for an unprecedented 28 weeks. In 1973, Susann became the first author to have three consecutive #1 titles on the List, cementing her famous adage: "The 1960s will be remembered for Andy Warhol, The Beatles and Me!"

Fifty years later, Valley's relevance is undisputed amongst the fashion, social, literary, and pop-culture giants of today, from Michael Kors and Lena Dunham to Marina and the Diamonds and Courtney Love.

Now, we want to make history again.

We want Valley of the Dolls to be the first novel to achieve #1 on The New York Times Best Seller List—twice.
